The IT Support Interns takes care all IT supports at Sabay Office such as responding to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and providing solutions. He/she also works with suppliers and other vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

To enhance the customer experience with Sabay’s digital products and understand our audiences to increase the appeal of existing and new products, the Customer Service Officer provides phone and online assistance to Sabay customers including players of Sabay games (such as JX2, AK2, AOG, King of Cards, etc.) and digital products (E-Novel, Quizes, etc). The Customer Service Officer solves player’s problems by providing step by step solutions related to account access, payments, purchases and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: Provide friendly and accurate information to customers about digital products:
    • Respond to customers on non-technical service questions
    • Explain updates and notifications that Sabay has released
    • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/mail
    • Moderate Sabay games Facebook pages to maintain or raise positive engagement with audiences

The Video Animator & Editor works closely with creative/content and video teams to deliver high quality video content that informs, inspires and entertains. As a specialized and creative member of the video process, the video animator animates and assembles raw material into a suitable, finished product to be ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, sound effects and graphic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of animation & editing on projects to create interesting and appealing video content by: 
    • Working closely with Video Editors, Content Creators and/or Project Leads to clarify concept, mood, tone, style etc. of the project. (i.e. review concept brief, script, storyboard).
    • Providing detailed input and feedback to relevant team members in particular on artwork requirements and options, music and sound effects, etc.
    • Determining and following post-production schedule to ensure delivery to internal and external deadlines.
    • Participating in handover briefing from production team.

The Videographer works closely with creative/content and video teams to deliver high quality video content that informs, inspires and entertains. As a specialized and creative member of the video process, the videographer is primarily responsible for managing the production process and shooting videos, ensuring that quality the footage (lighting, variety, length, camera angles, focus, framing etc.) is obtained. The role includes planning, budgeting and executing production of videos as well as providing insight and advice to video creative and post-production staff on concept, filming, schedule, tone, style, graphics and cost in line with creative vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate production plans for commercial and non-commercial video projects, on time and in collaboration with relevant project staff including:
    • Scout locations and plan shooting requirements
    • Avoid and reduce production problems (e.g. delays, duplication of work, etc.) through assessing risks as well as preparing and implementing contingency plans
    • Communicate, manage and follow production plans, budgets, schedules and shooting plans that are cost effective and minimize waste. 
    • Coordinate with Production Assistants and procurement staff to ensure that props and equipment are obtained and in usable form before shoots
    • Holding pre shooting briefing with content creators and other project members.
    • Set up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio, video recorders, lighting equipment, computers and microphones for location and studio production
    • Respond to input and requests from post production team on their needs before and after shoots
    • Resolve production problems during shooting and input into possible solutions

He/she is responsible for ensuring items or services are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered upon agreed terms and conditions, seeking maximum value for the company including agreed time and cost. He/she also collaborates with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations (shipping, delivery) meet quality and safety standards, determine vendor effectiveness, compliance and ultimately, the business’s return on investment (ROI).

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supply Chain

  • Work closely with other departments to figure out the product requirements
  • Perform supplier sourcing, selection, evaluation, negotiation, performance monitoring, and vendor relationship management  
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals

By anticipating and analysing trends in internal and external factors, the HoP drives Sabay to the forefront of innovation in Cambodian digital content and entertainment. The HoP collaborates across the organisation to ensure that operations, communication and delivery are smooth and cost effective.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production Projects

  • Lead and mentor production and post production staff to execute the entire video project cycle for video including: planning, budgeting, resource allocation (people and equipment), procurement, execution, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
  • Ensure timeframes and schedules for video content delivery are appropriate and met; determine priorities to assign and delegate as necessary to manage appropriate workloads.
  • Work closely with finance, set and monitor production team budgets; calculate and review profitability overall and at project level; make adjustments and recommendations as required.

  • Demonstrable ability to create and edit videos to a high standard including sound mixing, background music, sound effects, motion graphics, colour grading, lighting, adjustments, subtitles, credits etc.
  • Past experience using video editing software, such as but not limited to:
    • Adobe After Effects
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe Audition 
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Final Cut Pro X (Mac)
  • Able to take videos
  • Passion for film and video, staying up to date on the latest software and trends in video
  • Good creativity and attention to detail to input into and fulfill vision of content creatives and directors
  • Reliable and able to work autonomously and under pressure to deliver against deadlines
  • Strong time management skills, able to manage multiple demands and projects simultaneously 
  • Able to use and learn Microsoft Office and Proven Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software. Previous experience using online tools (WordPress and Search Engine Optimisation etc.) and other messaging and management software (e.g. Slack, ) an advantage

The Financial Controller (FC) manages the company’s finances as well as maintains and improves the company’s financial compliance and sustainability. The FC provides meaningful analysis of financial data for decision making. The FC monitors and reports on the performance of the company to senior management and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning

  • Manage the company’s forecasting, budgeting and budgetary control process
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation for senior management meetings
  • Perform project costing and financial modeling to support relevant teams in their decision making
  • Contribute in feasibility studies into proposed business plans and investment strategies

Financial Information

  • Oversee the issuance of financial information
  • Report financial results to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Provide meaningful data analysis on company’s financial situation for decision making on direction and corrective action
  • Provide financial job costing and project analytics and modelling to support relevant teams for improving project profitability

Risk Management

  • Report risk issues to senior management
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

Operations

  • Maintain working relations with all members of the management team
  • Manage the final payroll
  • Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal and tax function
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax auditors
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the finance department (account receivable, account payable, costing, bank reconciliation, accounting entries, etc.)
  • Manage cash flow and cash forecasts to ensure sufficient cash flow for expenditure
  • Provide hands-on supports, mentoring and training to subordinates
  • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies
  • Implement policies and procedures and operational best practices
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as requested by the senior management

Key Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent degree
  • Sound knowledge of accounting standards and principles
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience at the managerial level for a medium to large company or division of a large corporation
  • Sound of corporate taxes including reporting/filing and planning
  • High level of clear written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable/Advanced level English speaking, writing and reading
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in collaboration and partnering with a multicultural and multidisciplinary executive team
  • Advance skills in Office Application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Thorough understanding and hand on experience managing the general ledger, accounting internal controls, cash flow management, financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis

Preferred:

  • MBA in Accounting or Finance and/or the ACCA or KICPAA or CPA designation
  • Experience with SunSystems
  • Experience with multicultural leadership
  • Fluent in English speaking, writing and reading
  • Experience dealing with tax and financial audits
