The Customer Service operates front desk services and provides quality customer service; including managing incoming phone calls, in-person Sabay customers and visitors, as well as provides basic information about Sabay and its’ products such as Sabay Leng, Sabay News, Soyo, and more. This position works directly with customers via phone, e-mail, and in-person.

Sabay provide Customer Service Monday to Friday from 8AM – 5:30PM

To professionally serve customers, properly handle complaints, and provide accurate information on Sabay and Sabay products. Customer Service works with Finance, Social Media, and Production departments to fulfill the customer’s need and resolve their issues. The Front Desk role serves all Sabay visitors in a professional and helpful manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service using multi-channel communication (e-mail, phone and face to face).
  • Provide customers with accurate information about Sabay and Sabay Products​ (Sabay Leng, Sabay News, etc.); including correct contact information for the appropriate contact.
  • Greet customers/visitors warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling or visiting; then properly resolve the issue or connect them to the correct point of contact.
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Deliver customers message to the specific person/team/department.
  • Receive documents, handle properly, and deliver to the designated party.
  • Share information and recommendations with other teams to improve customers experience with Sabay and Sabay products.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the front desk and entrance/lobby area.

HR Manager oversees all aspects of Sabay’s human resources, balancing the needs of the employees and company to maximize effectiveness and productivity. As an integral part of the management team, the HR Manager is responsible for HR strategy and operations in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Strategy and continuous improvement

  • Propose and implement HR strategies on: compensation & benefits; compliance; talent acquisition, management & retention; professional development; employee relations & engagement; performance management and any other areas related to HR in line with company objectives and culture.

HR Operations, systems, administration and services

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Working closely with finance, set and monitor budgets for HR and staff social activities; make adjustments and recommendations as required
  • Working with tech and operations teams, recommend, design and improve HR management systems that enhance efficiency, accuracy, security and ease of use e.g. staff records and data management, approvals, performance reviews,  etc

Employee Relations and Manager support

  • Socialise and advise staff and managers on the content and application of HR policies, procedures and other information.
  • Provide guidance, interpretation and advice to line managers on their responsibilities including: staff relations and engagement, recruitment, onboarding, termination, handling sensitive or confidential matters, discipline, performance management and under performing staff, labour law and compliance as well as dealing with staff in a manner consistent with Sabay’s values, culture, policies and procedures.
  • Active participation (with senior and line managers) in disciplinary, sensitive or difficult staff situations.
  • Assist line managers to develop and lead the talent identification, talent development and succession management process through identifying staffing requirements; finalising job descriptions, ads and social media posts; recruiting, testing and interviewing; selection criteria and process; assessing and advising line managers on candidate selection;  etc.
  • Assess and address company and employee needs for learning and development including skills gaps, professional development, new systems or process adoption, along with internal and external options for training.
  • Identify, monitor, mitigate and resolve risks to staff (i.e. travelling to location, privacy, etc).
  • Empower and liaise with staff/“workshop” representatives to identify concerns and suggestions from staff to raise for management consideration.
  • Address employee queries and concerns; assess suggestions and complaints from staff and managers; summarise exit interviews; make decisions or recommendations balancing the staff and company needs.

Organisational Culture and Employee branding

  • With senior managers, take the lead in setting company culture through role modelling and reflecting values in policies, systems and decisions.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Coordinate employee involvement and social programs including celebrations, acknowledgements, activities and events etc.
  • In conjunction with relevant teams, direct HR website and social media in order to achieve strategic HR goals (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, etc).

Team management and Collaboration

  • Manage the HR team including recruitment, performance management, workload distribution, role modelling, mentoring and support.

The QA Developer designs, documents and implements software testing procedure to effectively test all in-house developed software projects to ensure the software is working as intended and specified in the project goals.

The QA Developer will review the automated testing codes written by developers to ensure sufficient code coverage and delivers the right tests to ensure functionality as specified in the project goals.

The QA Developer will design test scenario, setup continuous testing, run test and ensure positive test results before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance:

  • Lead test strategy of assigned projects to ensure the quality of products
  • Conduct software automated testing processes for unit, system, end to end integration test, data flow and customer experience test and product release sign-off
  • Review requirement and design test plan and scripts

The Head of Product Support oversees all aspects of the product life cycle and customer support for all products published by SDC.  The Head of Product Support ensures that all products at SDC are consistently maintained, continuously improved and work as intended for users and clients.

The Head of Product Support is directly responsible for the development and implementation of operational strategies and provides timely recommendations and input into wider SDC strategies in relation to products published by SDC.

Leading a multi-disciplinary team (Product Support Department), the Head of Product Support oversees deployment of new products, development and upgrades of existing products, performance monitoring, and customer support for all products in coordination with internal product teams, supporting departments and/or external suppliers.

Salary range: $1,500 – $1,800

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date about the market in Cambodia and the wider SEA region to anticipate and respond to changes in the market with regards to products published by SDC to ensure our products stay competitive

The Backend Team Leader designs and develops API’s and backend services to support functions and workflows required by applications developed by the software development department at Sabay.

This role leads the architecture of the project into a scalable and robust infrastructure using advanced technologies (such as microservices, API, SDK, advanced cryptography, scalable database solutions, and blockchain based storage).

In collaboration with Project Owners, the backend team leader defines project outcomes, planning and timelines so that projects are fit for purpose, completed in time and through the effective use of resources. The backend team leader ensures the quality of code and system architecture for scalability and resource optimisation developed by their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management for Back End

  • Oversee end to end development and execution – from design into production including automated testing and CI/CD process development
  • Deliver fit for purpose code by confirming with Project Owner expectations and purpose of projects
  • Detail and document clear project specifications for implementation and maintenance
  • Ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and on time including resource and time plans e.g. sprints

Maintenance and service provision: fix bugs, updates, etc.

The HR Officer will focus on the smooth and efficient delivery of HR operational functions including: payroll management, employee administration, expat services management, labor compliance, staff onboarding and off-boarding, recruitment, training and development, etc. The HR Officer also is a key point of contact for employees for HR concerns and employee engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Personnel Administration, Payroll & Benefits

  • In conjunction with relevant teams, process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure employee data is accurate, complete, and up to date and maintain soft and hard copies of employee details.
  • Prepare updates, reports and payments related to staff benefits e.g. seniority, insurance, NSSF
  • Issue and monitor personnel administrative letter (e.g. staff mobility, employment certificate, etc.) and ensure accuracy and timely response to relevant stakeholders.

Employee Services and Communication

Compliance

Recruitment, On-boarding and Offboarding

  • Support hiring managers in recruitment process such as: job descriptions, advertisements, communication strategies, key competencies, interview questions, testing, reference checks etc.
  • Prepare contractual documents such as staff contracts, letters etc.
  • Conduct on-boarding for all new employees: introduce benefits packages, company policies, and Health and Safety instructions.
  • Conduct exit interview and perform off-boarding process
  • Represent Sabay at events or recruitment initiatives e.g. forums, talks, networking, university drives etc as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, training, staff compensation and benefits management, personnel administration and/or HR compliance

The IT Infrastructure Lead is the driving force behind the IT infrastructure and operations. This role is in charge of the IT Support Team, setting the direction for the future of the team and making sure the whole team delivers quality support services while improving the IT infrastructure in the Sabay office. The Lead has comprehensive technical knowledge and experience in modern desktop systems automation and management according to industry best practices. The IT Infrastructure Lead is expected to self-learn about contemporary and emerging technologies for Windows systems management and accordingly implement the future strategy for the IT infrastructure in the Sabay office.

  • Control the network in Sabay office and ensure it runs smoothly

The Content Creator creates relevant and quality digital content (videos, articles, Facebook posts etc) that promote Sabay online and mobile games; to informs, inspires, and entertains Cambodian gamers. This includes: generating ideas for stories and series; planning and making content; developing and following production and content delivery schedules; and covering events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create interesting and appealing video, written and other content by:
    • developing concepts, angles and stories that better suit target audiences
    • Researching, interview and analyse facts and information to ensure credibility
    • Summarise complex and long information into quick and easy to consume format
    • Creating concise, attractive, and innovative headlines and captions that attract audiences
    • brainstorming and collaborating with team for new ideas with commercial value
    • repurposing content for different mediums including video and social media
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate media content plans for commercial and non-commercial purposes, including creating content and series
  • Collaborate with other teams internally including creative, production, publishing, social media, and client servicing teams etc to determine reasonable deliverables and time frames, brainstorm content strategies for clients, highlight opportunities to adjust format or style to attract commercial sponsorship
  • Stay up to date and integrate trends in social media (format, styles, tone and topics)
  • Share and accept feedback on improving the quality of content (e.g. appeal, format etc)

REQUIREMENTS

  • This post is open to fluent Khmer language applicants only
  • Able and interested in making quality content (video and written articles), focusing on eSports and gaming topics.
  • Bonus: Appropriate degree qualifications and/or professional experience in media, journalism, communications, or a related discipline, a bonus.
  • Passion for digital content and interest in online and social media platforms
  • Aware and up to date on current topics; curious and able to form and ask probing questions,
  • Open and honest, willing to raise ideas and issues with others to find appropriate solutions
  • Reliable and able to work autonomously to deliver against deadlines
  • Strong time management skills, able to manage multiple people and projects simultaneously
  • Team player who can build effective relationships across teams. Flexible and adaptive to negotiate and respect various stakeholders’ priorities
  • Good interpersonal skills with experience in multi-cultural and linguistically diverse settings
  • High level of clear written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Khmer and basic English communication required.
  • Bonus: photography, story board creation and/or video creation skills or experience
