The ‘CSM’ Client Success Manager’s primary responsibility is to generate sales revenue for the company by promoting and selling media products and services. The CSM will work closely with the Creative, Media, Production, Social Media, and Finance departments for all projects.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Study and understand all facets of the media products and services being offered
  • Approach potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means

The Videographer works closely with creative/content and video teams to deliver high quality video content that informs, inspires and entertains. As a specialised, creative member of the video process, the videographer is primarily responsible for managing the production process and shooting videos, ensuring that quality the footage (lighting, variety, length, camera angles, focus, framing etc.) is obtained.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate production plans for commercial and non-commercial video projects, on time and in collaboration with relevant project staff
  • Create interesting and appealing video content by:
    • Working closely with content creators and/or project leads to clarify concept, mood, tone, style etc. of the project. (i.e. review concept brief, script, storyboard)
    • Providing detailed input and feedback into production requirements to relevant team members on what and how specific projects can be achieved
    • Planning and filming high quality footage according to specifications of the project, including sufficient B-roll footage and audience appeal
    • Checking footage for visual and sound quality during and post filming
    • Briefing post production staff on highlights, notes, concerns and issues that occurred on shoot or with footage before handing over editing process
    • Discussing ideas and possible options with others throughout the project
  • Systematically and appropriately share and store video assets in a timely fashion. This means following naming conventions, selecting the appropriate file location, accessibility
  • Collaborate with other teams internally including creative, production, post production, publishing, social media, and client servicing teams etc. to determine reasonable deliverables and time frames
  • Contribute to post project reviews to determine how process can be improved for future projects
  • Brainstorm and highlight opportunities to increase appeal to audiences and seamlessly include commercial sponsorship opportunities

Key Requirements:

  • Practical experience in production especially in shooting live and non-live content. Bonus: Proven track record of delivering broadcast quality videos including news, documentaries, film, music videos, live shows, commercials or TV programs

The Video Editor works closely with creative/content and video teams to deliver high quality video content that informs, inspires and entertains. As a specialised, creative member of the video process, the video editor edits and assembles raw material into a suitable, finished product to be ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, motion graphics, and special effects.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all aspects of video editing on projects to create interesting and appealing video content by:
    • Working closely with content creators and/or project leads to clarify concept, mood, tone, style etc. of the project. (i.e. review concept brief, script, storyboard)
    • Providing detailed input and feedback to relevant team members in particular on footage requirements and options, production plan, lighting, angles, graphics, shots, transitions, music and sound effects, etc.
    • Determining and following editing schedule to ensure delivery to internal and external deadlines
    • Participating in handover briefing from production team; checking footage for visual and sound quality
    • Reviewing, cutting, editing and adjusting footage, sound and other effects according to specifications of the project and Sabay and/or client guidelines
    • Responding to creative/content, client or other feedbacks, making necessary adjustments or explaining possible options
  • Collaborate with other teams internally including creative/content, production, publishing, social media, and client servicing teams etc. to:
    • actively participate and provide input in briefing and kick off meetings
    • determine reasonable deliverables and time frames

 Key Requirements: 

  • 3+ years experience in post production especially in digital video editing and animation. Bonus: Proven track record of delivering a range of videos including news, documentaries, film, music videos, live shows,  commercials or TV programs
  • Demonstrable ability to create and edit videos to a high standard including sound mixing, background music, sound effects, motion graphics, colour grading, lighting, adjustments, subtitles, credits etc.

The Project Manager at Sabay manages a large software project implementation with different backend and frontend development teams. Project Manager defines project milestone (sprint) for the different development team which implementing micro services and micro frontends and helps them understand project goal, scope and product domain.

Key Responsibilities: 

Project Management (Backends and Frontends): 

  • Implement Agile (e.g. Sprint, Sprint Backlog, Sprint review) in the team to manage multi-micro services software project
  • Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone in the Scrum Team
  • Help prioritize tasks and align expectations and deliverables
  • Regulate Daily Scrum meeting to ensure that project milestones will be met in a timely manner
  • Help the team to stay focus on tasks and remove impediments that slow down the team’s progress
  • Define and follow up each team’s goal to achieve the main project goal
  • Ensure that each team work together smoothly on project collaboration
  • Follow up on existing projects

Team Management and Coaching: 

  • Help each team to reach consensus for what can be achieved
  • Maintain a safe working environment for the team by helping with conflict resolution
  • Coach product owners, development team members and other Project Manager of smaller teams toward scrum practice

The Senior Frontend Developer will work on developing efficient, testable and maintainable micro frontends such as PWA, web applications using modern web framework such as ReactJS, React Native, VueJS and conforming to test driven development practice by writing automated testing. The Senior Frontend Developer also maintain and improve on the existing projects to improve the customer facing product for better user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications, PWA using trending frontend technology such as React, VueJS, AngularJS.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Build reusable and testable code and libraries for future use
  • Conform to test-driven development practice by writing unit test, system test

The customer service executive will be handling customer requests for inquiries of the product that features in the platform, resolving issues, and communicating with implementing partners for complete services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services
  • Contact back to customers where necessary for following up tasks
  • Keep close contact with implementing partners for day to day work
  • Resolve product and service issues addressed by customers
  • Record and maintain customer account information

The Video Editor & Graphic Designer works on, including but limited, to graphic design and video edit for all Sabay game products (AK, JX, AOG etc.). S/he is also required to collaborate with Content Creators (and the game team) to set up and fix technical issues related to all livestream videos—and act as a photographer for game marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic design

  • Design marketing collateral including merchandise and artworks for digital channels for all gaming products
  • Continuously discover and deliver fresh, high quality artwork designs
  • Take on multiple projects to ensure smooth launch of marketing campaigns

Media Production

  • Design video streaming overlay
  • Conduct streaming process and production including setup, design, and quality assurance for all marketing campaigns
  • Provide training to Content Creators on streaming process
  • Produce artwork, photos and videos for marketing campaigns
  • Provide technical support for studio setup and maintenance (install/set up/maintain of audio visual/computer equipment in studio)

Video Editing

  • Work closely with Content Creators to edit and/or support video editing process to deliver the predetermined video standards and quality
  • Create and edit videos including but not limited to promotional gaming videos
  • Trimming footage and putting together the rough project
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency (transition, special effect, music, sound effect etc)

Key Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in graphic design
  • Knowledge of game streaming or OBS (Open Broadcast System)
  • 2 years (or more) of experience in Adobe applications (Premier, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effect), and motion graphic
  • Experienced playing LAN/mobile games
  • Creative experience in filmmaking and videography is a plus
  • Basic understanding of marketing model, “AIDA” (Attention/Interest/Desire/Action) is a plus

The Senior Accountant is mainly responsible for fixed asset control, balance sheet reconciliation control, month end closing assistance, group reporting assistance and related works to the responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accounting policies and processes are understood and implemented
  • Responsible for recording, checking and analyzing financial transactions and making timely reports to line manager

The Backend Developer develop new technologies as well as enhance existing technology to support our enterprise-grade backends. The Backend Developer will have exposure to a range of technologies including NodeJS, Blockchain, MongoDB, Clickhouse. This role actively involved in developing efficient, testable and maintainable microservice as well as integrate various technologies in search of a perfect commercial solution to the business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices.
  • Design and develop backends that serve enterprise-grade customer facing mobile and web apps.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability and performant Microservices with strong security.
  • Integration data from various backend services and databases such as MongoDB, MySQL or Clickhouse database.

The QA Developer designs, documents and implements software testing procedure to effectively test all in-house developed software projects to ensure the software is working as intended and specified in the project goals.

The QA Developer will review the automated testing codes written by developers to ensure sufficient code coverage and delivers the right tests to ensure functionality as specified in the project goals.

The QA Developer will design test scenario, setup continuous testing, run test and ensure positive test results before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance:

  • Lead test strategy of assigned projects to ensure the quality of products
  • Conduct software automated testing processes for unit, system, end to end integration test, data flow and customer experience test and product release sign-off
  • Review requirement and design test plan and scripts
  • Define necessary test automation, design automation flow, share implementation effort with software engineer
  • Drive the velocity of product development together with scrum team
  • Recommend for improvements to the testing processes
  • Maintain version control and update schedule for major software used in projects
  • Coach developers on automated unit and system testing
  • Ensure quality practice of assigned scrum team using agile methodology

2. Continuous Integration/Continuous Development:

  • Implement Continuous Testing pipeline into Gitlab CI/CD
  • Ensure testing will be automated as much as possible
  • Maintain base/core container images to ensure that security benchmarks are met and the latest stable, minimal OS and approved dependencies are used

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with 1 year leading team
  • Knowledge in at least two of the preferred programming language – PHP, Ruby, Go, Javascript
  • Experience and knowledge with web and mobile application development
  • Experience with designing test plans and scripts
  • Experience with automated testing, unit testing, integration testing
  • Experience integrating testing into continuous testing pipeline would be a plus
  • Deep knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Mocha, Jest, PHP Unit
